Causes and solutions of excessive noise of stamping press:

1. Noise caused by motor idling. The main purpose is to reduce the noise of motor and drive system. The idling noise can be reduced about 5dB by using low noise motor. Through the application of helical gear and herringbone gear, plus good lubrication, the noise can be reduced by 8dB.

2. The quality of pressure pump or pressure motor is not good, which is usually the main part of noise in pressure transmission. The main reasons for noise are the poor manufacturing quality, the accuracy of the pressure pump of the small press, the high fluctuation of pressure and flow, the failure to solve the oil problem, the poor sealing and the poor bearing quality. In use, because of the wear of pressure pump parts, excessive clearance, insufficient flow, and easy fluctuation of pressure, noise will also be caused. In the face of the above reasons, one is to select a high quality pressure pump or pressure motor, and the other is to strengthen maintenance and repair. For example, if the gear tooth profile accuracy is low, the gear should be grinded to meet the requirements of contact surface; If the vane pump has oil trap, the triangle groove of the oil distribution plate should be corrected to solve the oil trap; If the axial clearance of pressure pump is too large and the oil delivery is insufficient, it should be repaired to make the axial clearance within the allowable range; If the pressure pump is not selected correctly, it should be replaced.

3. The improper adjustment of the reversing valve causes the valve core to move too fast, causing the impact of the reversing, thus generating noise and vibration. In this case, if the change-over valve of the small press formed by game coin is a pressure reversing valve, the throttle element in the control oil circuit shall be adjusted so that the reversing is smooth and without impact. When working, the valve core of pressure valve is supported on spring. When its frequency is similar to the pulsation frequency of oil delivery rate of pressure pump or similar to other vibration source frequency, vibration and noise will be generated. At this time, by changing the natural frequency of the pipeline system, changing the position of the control valve or properly adding the accumulator, the vibration and noise reduction can be prevented.

4. The main reason for noise is air intrusion pressure system. Because the pressure system of small press of game coin forming invades the air, it is large in the low pressure area. When it flows to the high pressure area, it is compressed and the volume suddenly shrinks. When it flows into the low pressure area, the volume suddenly increases, and the volume of the bubble suddenly changes, resulting in "explosion" phenomenon, which produces noise. This phenomenon is generally called "hole". For this reason, exhaust devices are often set on the pressure cylinder to allow for exhaust. In addition, it is also a common method to make the actuator exhaust several times in a fast full stroke after driving.
