1、 Before the installation and use of the mold, the dirt should be strictly checked and cleaned, and the guide sleeve and the mold should be checked for good lubrication.

2、 Regularly check the turntable and die mounting base of punch press to determine the coaxial accuracy of upper and lower turntables.

3、 According to the installation procedure of the die, install the male and female dies on the turntable, and make sure that the direction of the male and female dies is the same, especially for the non-circular and square dies with direction requirements. The more carefully the dies are installed, the more attention should be paid to prevent wrong and reverse installation.

4、 After the punch die is installed, check whether the fastening screws of the die mounting base are locked correctly.

5、 The punch die and die edge wear should stop using and timely grinding, otherwise it will expand the wear degree of die edge, accelerate the die wear, reduce the quality of stamping parts and die life.

6、 For the general mold used in batch production, there should be a backup for rotation production to determine the production requirements.

7、 Stamping personnel should use soft metal such as copper, aluminum, etc. to install the mold, and make operation tools to prevent the mold from being damaged by knocking and smashing in the installation process.

8、 The mold should be handled with care in the process of transportation. It is not allowed to throw and touch the mold randomly, so as to avoid damaging the cutting edge and guide of the mold.

9、 The punch die should be put back to the designated position in time after use and be oiled to prevent rust.

The main process of gantry stamping die processing is in the maintenance of the punch. Because the transmission part of the punch is mostly load-bearing parts, the precision, finish and hardness of the parts are relatively good. So it needs to be cleaned frequently. In order to reduce the wear of machine parts, the transmission part of the punch mostly works in the lubricating oil environment. Due to the long time and high power work, the temperature of some contact points on the machine parts increases, which causes the local high temperature oxidation of the lubricating oil and turns into a colloidal film. At the same time, the mutual wear of machine parts will produce some metal powders, which fall into the lubricating oil together with the dust in the air, forming dirt. These dirt will accelerate the wear of the transmission parts of the machine parts. In order to avoid this damage, it is necessary to clean and replace the new lubricating oil regularly. For example, the machine tool gearbox used in the factory needs to be cleaned by changing the oil every 2-3 months. The commonly used cleaning method is manual scrubbing with kerosene.

Gantry punch equipment needs to be learned, master the structure and performance of the punch, familiar with the operating procedures and obtain the operation permit before operation. The stability protection and control device on the gantry punch press is being used, and can not be removed arbitrarily. To check whether the transmission, connection, lubrication and other parts of the punch and the protective safety device are normal, it is necessary to install the die screw and must not be moved. The gantry punch should be idle for 2-3 minutes before operation. Check the flexibility of foot brake and other control devices. It can only be used after it is confirmed to be normal. It is not allowed to operate with diseases. It's important to align the upper and lower dies, determine the correct position, move the punch by hand, and work in good condition. Pay attention to lubrication before driving, take down all floating objects on the punch. When the gantry punch is moving or running, the operator should stand properly, keep the hands and head away from the punch, pay attention to the punch action at all times, and do not chat with others. When punching short and small workpieces, good tools should be used, and it is not allowed to feed or pick up directly by hand. When punching or long body parts, stable support frame or other stable measures shall be set up to avoid excavation damage. In case of single impact, hands and feet are not allowed to be placed on the hand and foot brake. It needs to be moved once to prevent accidents.
